It’s been over 40 years that the first two LAMY safari fountain pens found their way into the hearts of customers. Time to celebrate this milestone in Lamy history with a relaunch of the original colours: savannah green and terra red.
When Lamy introduced the Safari in Savannah Green and Terra Red in 1980, it was not an instant hit ... people had to get used to the modern look of the pen. But now, more than 40 years later, it is the best sold pen in the world, a true icon with which many learned to write with at school and is now loved for by children and adults.
In 2021 Lamy introduces the original colours of those original pens from 1980 again in a special limited edition.
